Who will ever forget 007 climbing the steep rock formation of Meteora chasing the villains in the film For Your Eyes Only. You too can feast your eyes on the beauty of Meteora and Pelion both situated in the region of Thessaly. The Pelion region, near Volos, could offer opportunities for smaller groups on shorter incentive breaks, with accommodation in unique traditional mansions and outdoor dinner with music in the picturesque villages such as Makrinitsa. It is also one of a handful of places in Greece that can offer winter sports and ski trips as an incentive in January and February. The Pelion is also easy to combine with a visit to the Meteora monasteries. Fit and competitive incentive groups could be challenged to make the ascent of nearby Mt Olympus – not a technical climb but a stiff enough hike to be a challenge.
