A landscape of infinite natural beauty and a host of a number historic monument make up the aesthetic mosaic of central Greece. A landscape where mountain ranges drenched in greenery alternate with lakes, striking gorges, springs and beaches.  Ancient monuments, monasteries, Byzantine and post-Byzantine churches enrich the natural geography of this important part of Greek territory, which also serves as a communications hub between northern and southern Greece. The natural environment of central Greece is ideal both for winter and summer tourism. In winter, travellers can enjoy skiing on the area’s snow capped mountains or hiking though its dense forests; in summer, the two basic options are the cool green of the mountains and the idyllic blue of the sea.

Central Greece is home to some of the most famous sites in Greece including the ancient town of Delphi, thought by the ancients Greeks as the centre of the world and Thives made famous by the tragedy of Oedipus.  Today, Delphi still attracts many visitors from all over the world due to the historical remains and the archaeological museum.  Nowadays, the regions features a number of skiing resorts of Parnasos and Karpenisi which attract a number of visitors every year due to their close proximity to Athens. 
The region of Central Greece features the island of Evia that is considered one of the most beautiful islands in the country.  Located at the Aegean Sea, Evia is situated at the eastern coastline of Central Greece and Attica and its famous for its natural springs and beautiful long sandy beaches.   At Halkida, which is the capital of the island, with its the magnificent tidal phenomenon, the bridge, the fountain Arethousa, the fortress Kanithos, the churches and the Roman remains.

The region is ideal for combining a conference with a bonding incentive fighting the natural elements as it offers plenty of opportunities for team or individual sports.  These include skiing at Parnasos, Velouhi or Kaliakouda, walking at Helidona, rafting at the river Aheloos, kayaking at the lake of Kremastes and mountain biking at Kaliakouda. Apart from the winter sports, the prefecture offers innumerable sightseeing, interesting museums, archaeological sites, sacred monasteries and old churches that are worth visiting.

  • 15 hotels with in-house facilities situated in central Athens and the suburbs with capacity ranging up to 1000 delegates.
