Tinos
Tinos is like a gem in the Cyclades. It is little known as a both a business and leisure destination. It is ideal for religious conferences as the Church of the Holy Virgin whose feast on 15 August receives many pilgrims from around Greece. A line of mountains runs the length of the island. On its lower slopes, walls like the fortifications of old castles divide the terraced fields. The coast of the island is mostly steep but there are numerous coves with sandy and pebbly beaches worth exploring.
