Kefalonia

The largest of all the islands, Kefalonia is a land of many contrasts. Beautiful beaches, rugged mountains, forests covered with fir trees indigenous to the island, olive groves and orange orchards give the island its special flavour. One of the most famous beaches in the world with its soft white sands is situated here, the Myrtos beach. Other areas worth exploring while in Kefalonia is the capital Argostoli, Lixouri town, Poros, Sami and Fiskardo village.
