Zakynthos

Zakynthos is the southernmost of the Ionian Islands and owes its name to the son of Dardanos, King of Troy who according to the myth built the first city here. It is also mentioned in “The Iliad”. The Venetians christened it “the Flower of the Orient” and the father of modern Greek poetry wrote: “ Zakynthos could make one forget the Elysian Fields”. The island’s turquoise waters, pine studded mountain and the warm hospitality, make any business trip unforgettable.
